Harvard Macy Assessment Program - Seats Open!

A Systems Approach to Assessment in Health Science Education program will be held March 7-13, 2009, at White Oak Plantation outside Jacksonville, Florida. Tuition includes all course materials and room and board at the White Oak Conference facility. The program is limited to 35 applicants. Course faculty includes Eric Holmboe, MD; Richard Hawkins, MD; Helen Mann, PhD; John Norcini, PhD; Lou Pangaro, MD, Thomas Viggiano, MD and others. This is a great opportunity to consult with well recognized experts in assessment and evaluation during this six day residency program at a beautiful conference and wildlife conservation center outside Jacksonville. The teaching formats include topic presentations, large-group case discussions, small-group literature analysis, collaborative working groups and expert panel discussions as well as the chance to consult one on one with leaders in the field. Discounts given to teams of two or more from the same institution. The program is appropriate for faculty in health science education (nursing, veterinary, dentistry, medicine and other allied health fields) involved in evaluation and assessment activities at their institution.
